A Working Life Heritage Trail attraction is gearing up to hold a special event this Anzac Day.
The Margaret River Old Settlement will host Remembering Them, a display designed to highlight the impact of World War I on the local community.

Heritage enthusiasts have another reason to explore Busselton now that the ArtGeo Cultural Complex has been added to the Working Life Heritage Trail.
The complex joins the Busselton Jetty and Busselton Historic Museum as three attractions in the city promoted as must-see sites to people interested in the history of the South West region.

The Working Life Heritage Trail display room at the Bunbury Visitor Centre has had a revamp and is now once again open to visitors wanting inspiration for mapping out a journey to some of the South West region’s most fascinating historical sites.
It was officially reopened today (June 6) by South West MLC Colin Holt in front of a crowd which included representatives from Working Life attractions round the region.

Working Life Heritage Trail expands to include Dunsborough

People following a popular South West heritage trail will now be encouraged to visit Dunsborough to learn more about the town’s maritime history.
The historic Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, which was built in 1903, has been added to the Working Life Heritage Trail for the first time and will now be promoted to history buffs as a must-see attraction.

The new chairman of an organisation which promotes the early working life of the South West has encouraged people to take the time to discover the fascinating history of the region.
South West Working Life Association chairman Ian Wilson said it was important people gained an understanding of how the region they lived in was shaped by past residents.

The replica coal mine at the Collie Visitor Centre has become the latest attraction to join the trail, a link of heritage-themed sites that offer a window into yesteryear.
